Jake's Solo Session

Jake rolled his shoulders, waiting for Storm to start his session.
He really wanted to get better with his powers, plus, he was tired of doing nothing

Storm's voice came over the intercom "Are you ready Talon?" She asked.

"Yah. Bring it on." Jake said, letting out his breath and preparing himself.

She gave him a nod and a thumbs up from the control room ans switched on the program, sure to start it on one of its lower levels. Tentacle arms appeared rom random points in the wall and fleww at Jake.

Jake waited for the last minute then dodged them one by one. One caught him from behind. He changed to tiger and chomped down at the arm full power.

(well, it was an instinct while i was changing, but i'll edit.)

The arm flinched and rleased him. The tohers darted at Jake once again.

Jake snarled and slashed around at the nearest one, side stepping one and ducking another one.

The tentacles sapped around to evade his claws. One rushed him from above.

Jake shrank to a cat and slid under the tenticles, making some run into eachother. He skidded a few feet and changed back to human, panting.

Srm upped the level and a buzz saw began toemerge from the wall.

Jake moved aside and punched the buzz saw with his metal arm.
He whined as he felt the shock through his body. All the upgrades he added did let him make a heavy dent in the saw...
He probably wouldn't try and do it twice though....

The saw retreated back into the wall while another tentacle sped at Jake and tightly gripped him around his waist.

"Ow..." Jake simply kept punching at it with his metal arm trying to think of a real plan.

Th tentacle sent out an electrical shock as it began to grip tighter around Jake.

Jake gritted his teeth and swapped to a Jaguar, bitting down with a force stronger than a tiger's, giving a snarl.

(stop getting beaten up anytime now were only on level one)

Jake teeth were able to cut through the wire; however, they gave him a nasty shock driectly to the mouth. The the tentacle dropped him to the floor. "Talon are you all right, we can stop at anytime if needed." Ororo's voice said over the intercom full of concern.

(I was doing fine until i got zapped....)
Jake gagged for a moment, shaking his head to clear it.
"Nah... No. I'm fine. Let's keep rolling." He shook himself and shifted back to human.

Suddenly random floor tiles began to shoot up causing pillars to nearly reach the celing. As soon as the went up they would all most instantly come back down.

Jake rolled to avoid one and shifted to cheetah for quick turns and sprints.
He avoided some and jumped off of another before it got too high.

As the level progressed pannles of the floor began to open, turning them into pit fall traps.

"You've got to be kidding me..." Jake sighed, avoiding what he could.

A button appeared at the highest point in the ceiling. It was the switch for the floors!

Jake glanced up at it then took off in a sprint, heading for the button. He shifted to cougar for a better leap and dodged falling pillers and used the raising ones to hit the button.
